Choose Joy Today!

Gooooooooood Morning!!!

Guess what?! Today, we are CELEBRATING!!!

“What are we celebrating?”, you may ask. And in all fairness, that is the usual response. What happened? What is there to celebrate?

Waking up. Breathing it in! Looking around, taking in all that’s around us. That’s what we are celebrating.

Because the truth is, all is grace. Even the hard stuff and the tough circumstances and the not-so-fun things– that is grace too.

That’s what your Heavenly Father does. He uses it all for your good and makes you look a little more like Him with each day that passes.

So, whatever is on your docket this Tuesday, you can be intentional about celebrating. Jumping for joy has always been a choice, not a mere reaction.

Thank You, Jesus for this day! Thank you that You have gone before me, travel with me, and will watch after me as I go. Thank You for the challenges, for they are opportunities to see Your faithfulness. Thank You for every person that crosses my path today– may they see YOU in me. Thank You that You are who You say You are and because of that, jumping for joy is ALWAYS possible! Help me live freely today. In Jesus name, Amen!

“This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” -Psalm 118:24

I have always known how important it is to start your day in ways that provide energy, strength, and focus for the hours that follow…but it felt so difficult. It required some changing of habits and some rearranging of my schedule. It...

Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.
Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.

I used to believe that guilt was holy in a way. Maybe it’s guilt over not being the best daughter you can be. Or brother, wife, husband, friend, sister, etc. Maybe it’s those words you said about a coworker in the heat of the moment that you didn’t...
