Greater is He in me.

Cleerely Stated IG #66-01
Fear: It is so loud sometimes, crowding our ability to think straight or see anything other than what is slapping us in the face.

We have these moments throughout our day where we realize we have a choice–think about this with me– those moments where you know you are at a crossroads and you can cower down in fear or you can choose to rise above your circumstances–what do we do?

Sometimes the little guy in our head convinces us that our insecurity is too big, our worth is not enough or that we simply don’t belong and so we run. Fast. We don’t even realize we are running sometimes- away from the fear, catapulting ourselves back into our pool of comfort because the unknown was just too scary.

OR maybe we are in the thick of the quicksand, waist-high in what feels like impossibility, and panic becomes our only method of operation.

BUT Jesus.

Have you stepped back and really looked at your fear? Have you undressed it to see what it REALLY is? Have you sought His word, knelt down in prayer and listened to His voice?

We must. Fear will always take us on a detour route because it is determined to rob us of our destiny. But Jesus– His perfect love casts out fear.

All fear is gone in His name.

Will you move forward on His accord? Greater is He that’s living in YOU than he who is in this world.

Fear can not sit at your table if you do not give it a chair. Fear can not grow in your garden if you do not water its roots. Fear can not speak to your identity if you do not give it the microphone.

Fear has no place in your life so do not give it one.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9

“The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?” -Psalm 27:1

Short and sweet— whatcha been doing this morning? Have you developed a healthy routine when your mind wakes up and your feet hit the floor that will ensure a peaceful and productive rest of your day? I have always known how important it is to start your day in ways that provide energy, strength, and focus for the hours that follow…but it felt so difficult. It required some changing of habits and some rearranging of my schedule. It...

Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.
Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.

I used to believe that guilt was holy in a way. It showed that I knew what Jesus was asking of me in a moment or that I knew something I should’ve done or been, and I regretted not being/seeing/doing that. Maybe it’s guilt over not being the best daughter you can be. Or brother, wife, husband, friend, sister, etc. Maybe it’s those words you said about a coworker in the heat of the moment that you didn’t...

Speak them out loud.
Speak them out loud.

May 29, 2018

I remember sitting in a conference a couple years ago and the speaker said, “Tell yourself out loud! Speak it over yourself but give it volume!” And I’m thinking, “I have never done that, consistently at least.” I was also thinking, “Is that like a true difference-maker? The whole giving it volume, making sure your own ears hear it thing?” Well, joke’s on me because I have noticed, over the big and the small things, that when I...
