He is wild about you.

He is wild about you.

Aug 15 IG-colored quote blocks-06
I mean absolutely crazy about you.

He is wild about you because you are His. HIS! You are a child of the most High King and He would stop the universe to pursue you. In fact, He already does that.

The best part? Your lunatic self could do nothing to drive Him away or change His mind. He delights in your weakness because your desperation invites His strength.

You didn’t earn this place in His heart, He gave it to you. He wove every fiber of your being, spoke life into your bones and deemed you worthy.

He sees your fear and says “Yet, you are courageous.”

He sees your insecurity and commands: “Let me be your confidence.”

He hears the world yell its impossible standards at you, gently pulling you in and reminding you, “You are enough”.

Enough.

He is in love with you.

W. I. L. D.

So why don’t you focus on that today? It doesn’t matter whether you’re on a mountaintop, walking through the valley or barely sifting through the sinking sand, He is the pep in your step and the sustenance for what’s next.

Have a great Tuesday, child of the King!

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” -Zephaniah 3:17

“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.” -Proverbs 8:17

I have always known how important it is to start your day in ways that provide energy, strength, and focus for the hours that follow…but it felt so difficult. It required some changing of habits and some rearranging of my schedule. It...

Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.
Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.

I used to believe that guilt was holy in a way. It showed that I knew what Jesus was asking of me in a moment or that I knew something I should’ve done or been, and I regretted not being/seeing/doing that. Maybe it’s guilt over not being the best daughter you can be. Or brother, wife, husband, friend, sister, etc. Maybe it’s those words you said about a coworker in the heat of the moment that you didn’t...

Speak them out loud.
Speak them out loud.

May 29, 2018

I remember sitting in a conference a couple years ago and the speaker said, “Tell yourself out loud! Speak it over yourself but give it volume!” And I’m thinking, “I have never done that, consistently at least.” I was also thinking, “Is that like a true difference-maker? The whole giving it volume, making sure your own ears hear it thing?” Well, joke’s on me because I have noticed, over the big and the small things, that when I...
