I can plant seeds and I can water. But I can’t make things grow. I can’t, but You can.
I can pray fervently and wait patiently for others hearts to change. But I can’t soften hearts. I can’t, but You can.
I can advocate for truth and I can stand firm in what I believe. But I can not change the tides of leadership by my own hands. I can’t, but You can.
Lord, there are so many things that I can not do. In my own flesh and in my own strength and out of my own selfish ambition, I often try. But I know that You can.
I know that if there is any root belief that will propel my success, it is believing that by Your hands, it can be done.
The impossible is your specialty. Miracles are your nature. The tough stuff is your FAVORITE.
The fact that I can’t makes me depend on You. So, today, I am thankful for what I can’t do and what I know You will.
“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” -Matthew 19:26
