So often, we give love this mushy connotation. We act as though it’s a feeling attached to a romantic ideal; something that makes our heart beat fast or keeps us up at night.
And while sometimes it is all of these things, love is also the strongest force that our hearts can experience. There is none greater.
Love is the only thing strong enough to break any barrier, silence any monster, supersede any notion and conquer anything that steps in its path.
It is also the gentlest way to extend a hand. To love is to recognize, to hear, to take the time to bend down and SEE all that someone is. To love is to acknowledge the issues but believe for the truth– that love never fails.
Love is both strength and gentleness, grace and truth, intimate and powerful– it is all things good.
Love is how you were woven, how you continue to be refined and how your heart has its purpose.
Love is Him and He is in you and therefore, you are LOVE! It is yours!
It’s yours for the taking and yours for the giving. And the best part is? The more you accept His love, the more you’re able to offer that to others!
The greatest weapon for whatever circumstance and the most important thing we will ever do- LOVE.
Happy Valentine’s Day, friends!!!
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” -1 Corinthians 13:13
