More than enough.

More than enough.

Cleerely Stated IG #49-01-01

If you’re like me, you are no stranger to striving.

After you’ve achieved your current goal, you’re already onto the next one, refusing to celebrate how far you’ve come because you’re obsessed with where you want to go.

Is this you? Consumed by unrealistic expectations, haunted by this picture of perfection displayed on social media and driven by a perception of life that isn’t actually TRUE LIFE?

Do I believe excellence is an attainable goal? Absolutely. Excellence is Jesus. But our excellence will always be laced in mistakes or heartache, paired with a side of failure and woven through hands of imperfection.

So how do we thrive? How do we get to that place of true freedom, that allows one to remain in a posture of rest on the journey to where they desire to go and who they hope to be?

By realizing that Jesus fills our gaps. By understanding that grace covers our way. By knowing what we LACK is actually what we gain, because Jesus steps in and sustains our success, allowing us to move forward in imperfections and grace.

May we live authentically and vulnerably and gratefully, trusting it is He who is perfect and He has cleared our way.

You are more than enough.

Just as you are, exactly as you see, more than enough is what you are.

“Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.” -2 Corinthians 3:5

I have always known how important it is to start your day in ways that provide energy, strength, and focus for the hours that follow…but it felt so difficult. It required some changing of habits and some rearranging of my schedule. It...

Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.
Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.

I used to believe that guilt was holy in a way. It showed that I knew what Jesus was asking of me in a moment or that I knew something I should’ve done or been, and I regretted not being/seeing/doing that. Maybe it’s guilt over not being the best daughter you can be. Or brother, wife, husband, friend, sister, etc. Maybe it’s those words you said about a coworker in the heat of the moment that you didn’t...
