No hands in tomorrow’s jar.

I saw you, reaching into that jar, trying to control circumstances that you do not even know yet.

I think what we don’t realize is that even though worry isn’t fun/healthy, it is MORE in our comfort zone than surrender and trust. Our human need to feel secure and satan’s desire for us to be consumed by fear are coupled together, throwing us into this incessant attempt to control our future.

And then guess what? We can’t enjoy our today. Our present is robbed!

But think about it— what’s the best way that you can ensure a better tomorrow? By planning and preparing and trying to foresee what MAY or may not be?!? OR by staying within your present and treating it with excellence?

Let’s stay in today, friends.

You make a difference today and your tomorrow will already be different because of it.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” -Matthew 6:34

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” -1 Peter 5:6-8
