Stop your Monday grumbling

Monday – the classic “UGH” day.

You know, the day we spend asking, “Where did my weekend go?!? How long until Friday? Did she REALLY just ask me to do that?!” And on and on and on.

But do you realize how much your countenance affects your spirit?! If you’re adamantly trying to hate your day, trust me, you will! If you’re grumbling throughout every task, there is a 100% chance you’ll be miserable.

But if you’re intentionally practicing gratitude, despite the undesirable things that are asked of you, your mind and your body will follow suit!!!

Grumbling and arguing does not change what you have to do; it simply makes for a miserable attitude and approach while doing it.

So, don’t.

Don’t dread the inevitable, complain about the necessary or allow yourself to feel entitled, thinking you shouldn’t have to do whatever it is that you’re avoiding.

Want to make a difference in your workplace or home?!? Get off your high horse, be the low man on the totem pole and enter every conversation and interaction with the mindset of: “How can I best serve this person today?”

Trust me, friend! We often get the roles reversed but a servant is the most honorable position of all. And frankly, your constant complaining is annoying even you, isn’t it??

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” -Hebrews 6:10
