Take heart, He sees you

Do you have something that is weighing on you this morning? Or maybe something is on the horizon and you’re feeling a little anxious?

Maybe you’ve been working tirelessly to find a job and the doors are just not opening anywhere…how are you going to pay the bills?

Maybe you have been letting the past eat you up with anxiety and guilt…are you ever going to get to a place where that doesn’t consume your thoughts?

Maybe you feel a little lost–you portray one person on Instagram and feel like a total other in real life…what do you do when others think you are great but you feel the opposite?

Do you think you would handle this burden differently if you knew there was a God who never took His eyes off of you? A faithful, trustworthy, constant and loving Father who not just watches you, He SEES you. Like He really, really sees the depths of you.

Because when we know we are seen, we do not feel invisible.

When we know we are someone’s priority, we do not fear taking a back seat.

When we trust that someone is fighting for us, we do not keep the burden on our own shoulders.

When we know someone, much less the God of the Universe, is willing to invest in our hearts and dig past the surface, we no longer feel unworthy or alone.

Our fear becomes trust as we come to understand how much He sees us, how much He loves us, how highly He thinks of us.

So whatever it is, wherever you are, whomever you are– you can take heart. You can put all your eggs in His basket and unclench those hands. HE SEES YOU, friend and He has plans for your life that are far greater than you can dream up

Will you practice trusting Him with me today? Trusting that He sees us, He knows what we are going through, however small or big it is, and that WE ARE HIS PRIORITY?

Happy Hump Day! You are so, so loved.
