We hear “what if” and we either go one way or the other.
We live in the past constantly questioning: What if I would have done this? What if I would have told her that? What if I would have walked through that door?
Or we are in the present, consumed with the possibilities ahead: What if I work hard at my goal and it happens? What if I meet someone next week? What if God has another plan?
Friends, living in the past or questioning what COULD HAVE BEEN makes it nearly impossible to work at what CAN BE. We must be present. Aware. Attentive to TODAY!
You should have big “What if?”s! Honestly, not because of anything you’ve done or how awesome you are but because you have a really big God and He is all about doing the magnificent.
So, will you? Will you let the bygones actually die and let your focus be the possibilities ahead? You have the miracle worker inside of you, let Him do His thing!
“The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.” -Proverbs 10:28
“As it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.” -Philippians 1:20
