You already matter. Now make much of Him.

What are you working on building for yourself?

Your reputation or your fame, built by assessments from others, which can crumble in a moments time? Or are you chasing His will for your life?

The need to feel important is universal. We want to MATTER. We crave knowing that we are seen, that we are heard, that others see us and they resonate with us….but what we don’t realize is that we have all of these things.

Our importance, our value, our worth– we were deemed “irreplaceable” before we ever formed a relationship with another because it comes from our relationship with JESUS.

Friend, you MATTER. But why you are here?! To share that same message with others. You are here to serve, to humble yourself before Him and reach out your hands.

It is in the revelation that making much of ourselves will leave us empty that we can truly access fulfillment, which stems from serving Him.

What was Jesus? The greatest servant of all. You live because of His sacrifice and you’re loved because of His grace.

Let’s follow suit.

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” -Galations 5:13

It required some changing of habits and some rearranging of my schedule. It...

Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.
Goodbye to guilt & receive His grace.

I used to believe that guilt was holy in a way. Maybe it’s guilt over not being the best daughter you can be. Or brother, wife, husband, friend, sister, etc. Maybe it’s those words you said about a coworker in the heat of the moment that you didn’t...

Speak them out loud.
Speak them out loud.

May 29, 2018

I remember sitting in a conference a couple years ago and the speaker said, “Tell yourself out loud! Speak it over yourself but give it volume!” And I’m thinking, “I have never done that, consistently at least.” I was also thinking, “Is that like a true difference-maker? The whole giving it volume, making sure your own ears hear it thing?” Well, joke’s on me because I have noticed, over the big and the small things, that when I...
