Can you feel it? Do you see it? Do you let it change you?
His love. How do we grasp something like that? Our fickle selves can’t fathom the stability. Our fearful minds can’t understand its boldness. Our vulnerable hearts can’t comprehend its resilience.
His love is the only reason that you are here. Do you get that?
Not only is it how you became it is also your because– your only method to madness while here. It is the only thing that will allow you to truly rest amidst the chaos.
Sometimes I think we read about Jesus and the concepts seem allusive and so we hear it but it’s hard to apply it. Sometimes I want to say: WHAT DO I DO WITH THAT?
So to answer your question- you let it consume you. You stop your striving and your doing and your competing and your hustle and you just let it hit you.
You be and you let it be and there it is. You rest in it and you marinate in it and you let it penetrate the deepest parts of your heart– the parts you think no one will love. You let it go those places.
The transformation will come because you can’t truly feel His love and not be changed. But let go of that pressure.
Just let His wide, long, high and deep love for you wash over you and take a deep breath.
There is nothing sweeter.
