Sometimes we think God’s love will feel obvious—clear, undeniable, impossible to miss. But more often, it’s quieter than we expect. Not absent, just steady. Not loud, just constant. Like because it is SO dependable, it’s almost easy to miss—a constant undercurrent holding us up.
And if we’re not careful, we can move through an entire day being held, guided, protected, and provided for without even realizing it.
We are often looking for the really obvious breakthrough or the provision that matches a timeline or outcome we had in mind. This feels easier to see.
Meanwhile, His love is already at work ALL OVER YOUR LIFE!!!
It shows up in the strength you somehow have for today, even though yesterday felt like too much.
In the delay that frustrates you but ends up protecting you.
In the closed door that didn’t make sense but quietly rerouted your steps.
In the pause you didn’t plan for but your soul desperately needed.
It looks like the conversation that softened instead of escalating, the clarity that came one step at a time, the way you didn’t fall apart like you thought you would.
This is how God loves. Not always by changing everything around you, but by faithfully sustaining what’s within you. Not always by removing the hard, but by strengthening you right in the middle of it.
Maybe as we begin to notice the character and heart of God, we realize we’ve had strength for today all along. We enter situations with a posture of peace because worship has filled our lungs and opened our eyes.
He’s so kind. It makes no sense how good His grace is and how generous His hands are but goodness, I am so so so grateful.
You are not overlooked. You are not unseen. You are not navigating this life on your own. You are being loved—right here, in real time. In very real ways. Nothing is ordinary about the King of Kings choosing to use and love and live inside of YOU.
It is time to lift your head. He will help you. He is already renewing and restoring and reviving beyond what you could ever conceive.
