Jesus, I’m so grateful. The gift of time—a new week. Another sunrise. Another opportunity to know You more, become more like You, and walk with You through ordinary moments that are never ordinary when You’re in them and with them and holding them.
Thank You that every new week is fresh ground for transformation. Fresh ground to trust You a little more, surrender a little deeper, love people a little better, and recognize that You have already gone before me. Nothing I will encounter this week exists outside of Your sovereign care. Not the conversations I can’t predict, the responsibilities I didn’t choose, the interruptions that frustrate me, or the prayers I’m still waiting to see answered. You are already there.
Would You increase my awareness of You today? Slow me down enough to notice Your fingerprints in creation, Your kindness in people, Your wisdom in Scripture, and Your presence in the ordinary rhythms of my life. I don’t want to spend another week simply getting things done. I want to spend it walking with You.
When I feel pressure rising, remind me that I don’t have to carry what was never mine to hold. When I feel weak, remind me that weakness has never disqualified me—it has always been the place where Your strength shines brightest. Keep my hands open instead of clenched, my thoughts anchored in what is true, and my heart surrendered to whatever You’re doing, even when I don’t fully understand it.
Teach me to protect what matters most—not by controlling every circumstance, but by continually returning to You. Build within me an inner sanctuary that doesn’t fluctuate with the opinions of people, the pace of my schedule, or the uncertainty of tomorrow. Form in me a life that is steady because it is rooted in Your presence.
Thank You that I never walk into this week alone.
