A prayer for a quiet heart in a loud season

on December 15, 2025

Another Monday, another mercy. 🤍

Jesus, thank You for being here before I ever noticed You.
Thank You for meeting me in the middle of a week already full of noise, plans, and expectations. You are steady when my attention is scattered, patient when my heart feels rushed, and kind enough to wait for me to slow down.

I praise You for being a God who is near—not demanding, not hurried, not disappointed by my pace. Thank You for the quiet ways You show up: in familiar routines, warm light through the windows, conversations that ground me, and breath itself. Even now, You are doing more than I can see.

So, today, I bring You my divided focus—the moments I rush past, the ways I half-listen, the pressure I feel to “do this season well.”—help me. I want to wholeheartedly pursue You and Your people and Your priorities and Your peace. Thank You for always meeting me with compassion before correction. You invite me closer. That is always Your greatest desire + my surest place of strength.

Help me notice You in real life this week—
in ordinary faithfulness,
in small kindnesses,
in joy that doesn’t need an audience.

Teach me to receive this season as a gift, not a test. Let gratitude soften my pace, and let joy rise naturally from awareness of Your nearness.
In Your presence is fullness of JOY!!!! Not manufactured or shaky or circumstantial or uncertain joy—but the fullness of the word in entirety. It is our adorations of You that fills our hearts.

This week, I choose praise over pressure.
Presence over performance.
Wonder over worry.
The sacred over the scrolling.
Holy quiet over hurry.
Generosity. And light. And intentionally shifting and pivoting every time I forget.

I trust You, Jesus.
And I’m grateful You’re already here. 🤍 you’re EVERYWHERE!
You are Christmas joy.
It’s all about You.
Lift my eyes over and over and over again 🤍
