A prayer for a thankful heart + a peaceful home

on November 24, 2025

Another Monday, another M I R A C L E 💫 🦃🤍🤎
Another opportunity and HONOR it is to receive the love of Jesus and respond to others through His lens.
Another chance to let gratitude narrate our days + canvas our hearts 🤍

Thanksgiving week reminds us how much of my life is shaped by what I choose to give my attention to.

Jesus, thank You. A million times over, I can never say it enough.
Some moments invite gratitude without trying—
the laughter around the table,
the warmth of familiar voices,
the small ways You make ordinary things feel sacred.

Other moments ask something deeper of me—
to release what I can’t control,
to loosen my grip on old expectations,
to show up with kindness even when it feels costly.

And yet, You meet me in all of it.
Not demanding perfection from me—
just inviting me to stay close enough to notice Your goodness as it unfolds.

This week, I want to choose well.
To choose presence over pressure.
To choose love over being right.
To choose gratitude over dwelling on what I can’t change.
To choose joy in the places where it’s been hiding.
To choose to see people—really see them—with compassion instead of assumption.

Help me steward the things I can control:
my tone,
my pace,
the stories I tell myself,
the patience I extend,
the grace I offer first.

And help me release the things I can’t—
the reactions I can’t predict,
the dynamics I can’t fix,
the outcomes that aren’t mine to orchestrate.

Thank You for the gift of the people around me—each one a reminder that You are a God of relationship, a God of connection, & a Father who knits all things together

Thank You for the quiet blessings tucked into this week—
every shared meal, every warm moment, + every trace of Your fingerprints.

Thank You that Your nearness is constant,
Your guidance is gentle,
and Your joy is always available.

As I walk into this week,
steady my heart so I don’t miss the beauty You’ve placed right in front of me.
Help me live from gratitude, speak from kindness, and love from abundance—
because You’ve already given me more than enough.

New week, new mercy.
Make me attentive, Lord.
I want to carry Your peace into every room I enter.
