Jesus, thank You for the gift of more time.
A fresh week. Oh the mercy it holds already simply to be here.
I don’t want this prayer to stay on a screen—I want it to shape how I move through my week.
So when I wake up and immediately think about everything ahead, help me come back to what’s right in front of me. Not everything at once—just this moment, with You.
When I feel the quiet pressure to get it all right, remind me You never asked me to carry it all—only to be faithful with what’s in front of me.
When I start moving too fast, slow me down. Help me notice the person in front of me—the tone I’m using, the way I’m listening, the space I’m creating.
Teach me to live aware of You in real time—in conversations, decisions, and the moments I usually overlook. When I’m tempted to control an outcome, gently ask, “What would it look like to trust Me right here?”
You are my protector—I can loosen my guard.
You are my provider—I can release the pressure to strive.
You are my redeemer—You are not limited by what feels messy.
You are my shepherd—I don’t have to have it all mapped out.
You are my sustainer—I don’t have to hold myself together.
You are my peace—I can stop searching for what You already are.
You are my Father—I can rest in what You freely give.
You are my refuge—I can come back to You again and again.
Lift my eyes to what lasts—not just what I do, but how I love and who I’m becoming.
I want a soft, present, teachable heart this week. Help me, Father. Continually humble me before You.
May my heart yearn to walk with You, forgoing all the things the world offers me and choosing You every time.
You are the source of everything good, eternal, and true.
Thank You. My week is Yours.
