A new week—time undeserved—a sheer blessing to see another sunrise and to get to love those around me.
More time to bring Heaven to earth and to live with a heart of wisdom, holding eternity as close as my breath.
The hope of Heaven redefines everything.
Jesus, sometimes Mondays feel heavier than they should. I wake up with lists running through my head, pressure already whispering that I’m behind. And yet, You remind me that the measure of my day isn’t how much I accomplish, but whether my heart stays close to You. That’s where real peace is found.
When I’m tempted to equate noise with importance, steady me in the quiet confidence of Your presence. Show me that depth is never rushed—that it is built in the slow, steady choices to look at You when everything else begs for my attention. You don’t call me to sprint through the shallow end of life but to step into deeper waters where trust becomes my lifeline. Surrender is the only way to thrive in the deep end—I’m so grateful for that.
Teach me the power of small obediences—choosing gentleness when I’d rather snap, gratitude when my instinct is to complain, mercy when judgment feels justified. These are the hidden places where faith grows, where the unseen roots strengthen and hold me steady when storms come.
And when anxiety spikes or fear whispers that I’m not enough, help me remember that holy confidence isn’t about being fearless—it’s about knowing who goes with me. You are unchanging when everything else shifts. You are faithful when my faith feels thin. You are strong where I am weak. You are able, good, sovereign, and ALWAYS kind.
So today, Jesus, will You help me?
I want to breathe slower, notice more, and live from the deep assurance that You never leave.
May my confidence in who You are fill me with strength, revive my JOY, and anchor me in every place I enter.
Learning who You are with every moment—it is the greatest venture of this life.
