And to take hold of the fresh mercy—that even if this morning already felt scrambled or hurdles already presented themselves, YOU are not rushed or reactive.
Breathing out worry, I breathe in YOUR peace.
Jesus, sometimes we treat life like a race instead of a relationship. We want answers faster, progress quicker, proof that we aren’t behind.
But You whisper: “Walk with Me.”
You remind us that trust grows best in still soil,
and that obedience in small, unseen places still moves Heaven’s heart.
Teach is the beauty of slow faith—
faith that listens more than it lists,
faith that breathes before it builds,
faith that believes that waiting is not wasted when You’re in it.
When we start to grasp for control, calm our hands.
When we measure my worth by our pace, lift our eyes to Yours.
You’ve never been in a hurry, yet You’ve never missed a thing.
Let that truth settle me today.
I’m ready, Jesus. I’m so expectant. I’m so grateful! Let this foundation be my center as the world swirls and the noise escalates.
