Another Monday, another M I R A C L E ✨
I’m so grateful, Father! How blessed are we?! Help us not take a moment for granted.
Jesus, our minds are remarkably good at traveling to places our bodies have never been. We can be standing in the kitchen on Monday morning while mentally sitting in Thursday’s meeting, next month’s decision, someone else’s reaction, or an outcome we have absolutely no authority over. We rehearse, predict, prepare, and sometimes call it responsibility when really we’re trying to feel safer by getting there first.
HELP US stay present and release the unknown to You.
We were never created to be omniscient. Our limitations are not evidence that something is wrong—they are reminders that we are creatures with a Creator.
You are the source!
You are the provider.
You are the healer.
You are the Sustainer.
You are our portion and it is well with our soul!
What relief.
You hold what we cannot know. You govern what we cannot control. You see the conversation from every side, the story beyond this chapter, and the ripple effects we couldn’t calculate if we tried.
So faith is not pretending everything will turn out the way we want. Faith is knowing that whatever comes will still have to pass through the hands of a Father whose character does not change.
Teach us to live from THAT place this week.
When our minds run ahead, remind us that grace does not usually arrive in advance for imaginary scenarios. You meet us in actual life—with wisdom for the real conversation, strength for the real disappointment, courage for the real obedience, and joy for the goodness that is actually here.
And there is SOOO much goodness here!
May trust make us more available to people, not merely calmer within ourselves.
Deep roots that help cast wide shade around us. Loving them is loving You.
Make our security look like patience.
Make our peace look like presence.
Make our gratitude look like generosity.
Make our love for You obvious in the way we love whoever is in front of us.
Jesus, You are not only beside us in what’s ahead—You are Lord over it.
So we can loosen our grip. Our Father is already there. 🤍 it’s the best news.
