Everyday evidence that God is near:

on July 24, 2025

Reflecting this morning as I welcome another year…I’m not great at taking the time to slow down and take inventory of all that God has done.
Sometimes, I forget that obedience isn’t just running the race God has called us to but in noticing God and His constant provision, kindness, and mercy before we ever even take a step!
His care is SO deeply sufficient and all-knowing- it is the most reliable part of this life—that it can be easy to take advantage of.
The millions of miracles that surround us on every side…in ANY and EVERY circumstance, they ring true.

This means that wherever you are, worship is possible. Whenever you’re going, God is already there. Whatever hiccups have happened, God already has them handled. However you FEEL, the truth is this: His heart and His hand are hidden in plain sight. Tucked into the pockets of the “ordinary” is the supernatural extraordinary power + purpose of the Almighty.
So today, instead of listing milestones or big wins, I wanted to make a list of the quiet blessings—the ones we rush past, overlook, or don’t always name out loud.
The kind that hold us steady when life feels uncertain.
The kind that whisper, God is still near. Still good. Still working.

Not just birthday blessings or mountaintop moments or success stories…but everyday ones.
The tapestry of God that is evident in every moment.

These “little” things are usually the most formative. They become the foundation for our lives as we show up and watch God show off, but in the quietest of ways, we can miss it if we aren’t looking for it.

So here’s to the sunrise that still showed up.
The verse that met you in your mess.
The friend who didn’t flinch when you cracked open.
The doors that closed… and the peace that came slowly after.
The kind of quiet that doesn’t just hush your house—but heals your heart.
The worship that softened what stress tried to harden.
The steady truth that you are still here, still held, still loved.
The absolute BLESSING and strength that comes from being a friend of Jesus.

All of it.
It is anything but ordinary to be held + treasured by the Maker of Heaven and earth.
