He moves mountains with our mustard seeds of faith

I’ll never get over it.
His hands gripped so tightly on the handles with a smile plastered on his face that nothing could erase. Wonder in his eyes, courage filling his spirit, and determination to go as fast as possible and experience it ALL.
I couldn’t stop laughing (as you can tell 🤣) because his little head jerked with the turns like he was professionally bobsledding. I couldn’t contain my joy- it felt explosive. You know when you can hear your child saying, “THIS is the best ever!!!! I feel Jesus here!”—and there is absolutely nothing richer or sweeter than that.

And then we climbed to the top of a literal mountain and my spirit felt so overwhelmed by the kindness of God.
Two years ago, if you asked me if I thought this was possible, I would tell you I’m begging God for it. Pleading. Warring. Standing in the gap. But in certain moments—and when things have felt really hard—mustard seeds feel too small. But then God does what only He can do and He moves mountains with our mustard seeds of faith.

And to think, that there were moments where they told us they weren’t sure if Sledge would walk unassisted and to see him literally RUNNING across the swinging bridge at the top of the mountain—fearless. Enamored with the leaves and the view he was seeing, he kept screaming, “Ma Ma! Ma Ma!” And dragging my hand.
As I walked to the very tip of the mountain and Sledge stayed behind, I looked out and lost my breath.
“I told you I would.”….I could hear Him telling me.
My heavenly father, reminding me that there has never been a moment in which Sledge or I or Will have been forgotten.
He’s always helping + healing + holding us.

All the leaves in the Blue Ridge parkway couldn’t sum up how many times my soul cried out, “Thank You, God.”
The reality is: He owes us nothing. He’s already been too good to us. And yet, because He can’t deny Himself, He continues to let us take part in miracles.

Without a doubt, God is working in whatever your story looks like. He gets the final say. His promises are yes and amen. His methods are always outside the box. His heart is failproof. Open your eyes because He will provide moments today that will assure you that He is near.
