Another chance to not let life pass us by but rather to embrace the highs and the lows and the mundane in-between with great anticipation of what God is doing + will do.
Gratitude…it is the way to unlock your supernatural vision and draw closer to His heart.
Jesus, we thank YOU!!!!
Over and over and over again, we thank You for saving us. For seeing us. For stopping and bending down and scooping us up in Your everlasting arms—man, they are STRONG and mighty. Dependable and true. Our deepest rest is found in them.
Will You draw a circle around what we control today and help us let the rest go? Make it obvious where to put our energy and where to release. Instill in us the commitment to excellence + diligence, remembering that life is a process and our job is obedience. Your job is the outcome.
Our responsibility is loving people, not convincing them of anything.
Our power is found in hiding under the shadow of Your wings, LOVING Your Word, and entrusting our tomorrows to You. It is only then that our bags are not to heavy for the journey You call us to. You’ve equipped us but that comes with the necessity of surrender to You + alignment with You.
Jesus, thank You for reminding us that we weren’t meant to survive or live for the high moments or the weekends. Our rest can’t merely be the planned vacation and our exhale was never supposed to be linked to our absence from work or the demands of life. No! You offer ABUNDANCE, PEACE, + JOY amidst all of it!
Thank You for unclenching our fists and helping us find a new way to live…calming our souls and opening our eyes to all our blessings.
Once we start naming them, they multiply + are too many to count. Your grace becomes a thread we can’t stop seeing and even difficulties remind us You are near.
Father, FRIEND! Our friend we get to talk to in every moment. Oh the power that this holds!!!
We will fight for our joy, hold fast to our hope, cling to Your joy, and ask for Your peace wherever we are.
