Sunday is here, and a new week is unfolding before us. Jesus, we thank You for every breath. Undeserved time—pure grace.
The lights are glowing, the calendars are full, and the sounds of Christmas are steadily filling our days. But beneath all of it, there’s a quieter question worth asking: What kind of spirit are we carrying into this week? Not just what we’re doing—but how we’re doing it. Not just what we’re preparing—but what’s being formed in us along the way.
So this week, we will speak truth and live it intentionally:
✨ We will enjoy HERE, now. We don’t have to chase a perfect version of this season for it to be meaningful. In fact, it is our imperfect days and ordinary rhythms where Jesus meets us. As we slow our hearts, we begin to recognize that peace isn’t something we create; it’s a presence we receive.
✨ We will keep our eyes forward. Comparison pulls our attention away from the sacred responsibility of our own stories. Staying anchored means honoring our limits, our pace, and the people right in front of us. We trust that God’s work in our lives doesn’t need to resemble anyone else’s to be faithful.
✨ We will turn down the volume to buy, do, + click. We don’t need to say yes to everything to prove love or worth. Simplicity creates margin, and margin makes room for presence. We allow God—not pressure, trends, or expectations—to decide what’s enough.
✨ We will refuse hurry + slow down so we can savor. Pausing interrupts the false urgency that tells us everything matters equally. Slowing down helps us discern what truly deserves our energy and attention. When we move at the pace of grace, clarity follows.
✨ We will return to Him when we feel scattered, overwhelmed, or unsure. His presence steadies us when circumstances don’t. Joy grows when we remember we’re not striving to belong—we already do.
May this be a week shaped by awareness instead of anxiety, by trust instead of striving, and by the quiet confidence that God is already here—near, attentive, and full of grace. 🤍
