Jesus, thank You.
We are sure of two things:
1.) tomorrow isn’t promised. Every day is a gift.
2.) there is NOBODY like You. You are worthy of it all.
This week, we will:
🤍 We will resist the urge to protect ourselves from disappointment by expecting less from life. It can feel safer to move through the week guarded, detached, and emotionally halfway out the door but we don’t have to live in self-protection mode because HE is our protector. We will bring our whole hearts because He is our safety net and our Source.
🤍 We will remember that most people are fighting battles we know nothing about. It’s amazing how quickly a delayed text, a short response, or a disappointing interaction can become a story in our minds. This week, instead of filling in the blanks with suspicion, we’ll leave room for grace to tell a different story.
🤍 We will stop giving our leftovers to the things that matter most. So many of us spend our best energy worrying about things we can’t control and then wonder why we have so little left for the people standing right in front of us. The life we’re longing for is often built in the ordinary moments we’re tempted to overlook—we will keep first things first!
🤍 We will stop treating margin like a luxury we’ll create someday when life slows down. The truth is, life rarely slows itself down. If we don’t intentionally make room to breathe, reflect, pray, and recalibrate, the noise will gladly consume every available inch of our attention.
🤍 We will remind ourselves that peace was never supposed to come from having everything figured out. We’ve spent enough time chasing certainty to know it doesn’t actually quiet the soul. What settles our hearts is remembering that God has been faithful in a thousand ways we could have never predicted and He won’t stop now.
A new week—we praise You, Jesus. It’s in YOUR hands—and therefore, our minds rest and our hearts settle.
