A new week is here—how kind is our Father?!
We know that where our attention goes, our lives usually follow. We don’t drift toward peace, gratitude, wisdom, or joy—we choose it! Over and over again.
🤍 It’s amazing how quickly our minds can fixate on what’s missing, what’s frustrating, or what’s still unresolved. Gratitude doesn’t deny reality—it reminds us that God’s goodness is just as real as our problems. The things we repeatedly notice eventually become the lens through which we see everything else.
🤍 Jesus never felt the need to defend Himself every time He was misunderstood, and neither do we. Not every opinion deserves your energy. Not every criticism deserves your response. Sometimes the most mature thing you can do is surrender and MOVE FORWARD!
🤍 The enemy doesn’t always have to make us do something sinful to distract us—sometimes he just keeps us distracted enough that we’re never fully present. What would change if you stopped trying to live in tomorrow??
🤍 Big prayers remind us who we’re actually talking to. He made the stars—He knows what He is doing. We don’t pray because we’re confident in the outcome—we pray because we’re confident in God’s character. Faith keeps asking, keeps hoping, and keeps believing that nothing is impossible for Him.
🤍 It’s possible to know Scripture without becoming more loving. It’s possible to know theology and still decide what is worthy of forgiveness. The invitation of Jesus has never been simply to learn information—it has always been transformation. Day by day, conversation by conversation, decision by decision, He is making us look more like Himself.
Happy Sunday, friends. 🤍
Let’s not live for the weekends when we have the God of the universe actively involved with every “ordinary” detail of our days!
