Speak this over your week:

Sunday is here and a new week is approaching. We feel the weight of knowing many obligations and choices lie ahead but then we remember Jesus and we hand Him the weight..eagerness, hope, and strength meet us where we are.

This week, we will:
🤍 We will wake up and align our focus, our thought life, and our hearts with the One who made the sun rise, orders every part of our day, and makes the sun set so that we can rest again. His covering is more than sufficient.

🤍 We will do everyday tasks, regardless of who sees us or recognizes us, with diligence and delight. Posturing ourselves before the Prince of Peace and Promise-Keeper, we will find new eagerness to do the mundane and expect Him to move.

🤍 We will take any offense, no matter how small, to the feet of the One who wove us from the inside out. We will take every morsel of our pain and every numb or hurting feeling within us to His feet—He will help us remember truth, restore our joy, and remind us to keep a soft heart no matter what.

🤍 We will protect the threshold of our home as a place of peace, healing, and refreshment. We will fight to maintain a posture of humility, especially with those close to us. Keeping Jesus at the center, grace will canvas the walls and His presence will be the main thing.

🤍 We will remember that the tangible, heartfelt warmth and the palpable, contagious joy of Christmas doesn’t require any place or any particular—just the person of Jesus! And He is here! Never leaving. We get to carry Christmas spirit with us wherever we go because He goes too.

This week—a privilege…an opportunity…a gift…a blessing undeserved ❤️ May we live it well.
