Speak this over your week:

Another week is on the horizon and our minds, bodies, and souls are readying themselves for what this week will hold.
Replacing the #sundayscaries with anticipation of what waves will crash upon our shore, we declare this:

🤍 We will think about the vastness of the ocean and the height of the mountains and the creativity of billions of people and remember that surely such a big and mighty God can handle whatever is on the horizon. If all is in His hands, then our hearts can rest easy.

🤍 We will pray intentionally, specifically, and courageously. If the wind and the waves obey Him, why would we short circuit our prayers? He already knows anyway. Bringing them to His feet, we find faith to step into the unknown.

🤍 We will trust that no wave, no matter how big or how abruptly it comes crashing, can shake the One who made the seas. When we know that we operate from a place of safety, we stop searching for it in the world around us.

🤍 We will let His unconditional, unshakeable, unfathomable love wash over us and remind us of who we are in Him. Greater than the sands that grace the seashore beyond what our eyes can see, we remember that such love is what’s holding us—helping us, and healing us all the way home.

🤍 We will let HIS peace—the peace that comes from the person of Jesus, the peace that can’t be taken or shaken—we will let that peace be what calms our hearts, carries our feet forward, and consoles our spirit, whatever our day entails.
This peace is like the blanketed blue sky above—is there an inch it doesn’t cover?

This week, we will remember who is in control.
We will reflect on His consistency, knowing that as sure as the sun rises tomorrow, so will His mercy. So will His grace. So will His power. So will His love.

Waves coming in…waves crashing…waves going out—God is the God of all of them 🌊
