Sunday, you always present us with the opportunity to lean in and anticipate what lies ahead or to look in and get too in our heads.
The difference between the two determines how we travel this week.
Boldly standing on His promises, we will:
š¤ Do everything we must to keep Jesus first. As we prioritize Him, He weeds out and waters what He must in order for us to flourish. We donāt need to figure out how to keep it all balanced; we will just put all our weight on Jesus and let Him sort it out for us.
š¤ We will actively put on JOY! Itās not automatic but it is always possible with our participation. Since the faithfulness of the One who is always faithful is what determines our celebration, we will lift our hands in eternal praise.
š¤ When we must waitāfor anything at allāwe will do so with patience and trust. If the Keeper + Deliverer of all good things has told us to āstay and believeā, we can stay and believe. He will never withhold something we would want if we knew everything He knows.
š¤ We will open the Word of God with eagerness, humility, and availability. As we read and marinate and meditate, we will remind ourselves of the assurance of our present, past, and future. Deep breaths and worthwhile living is found when we anchor ourselves here.
š¤ Remarkable kindnessāthe type that seeks no credit, goes the extra mile, and really SEES others.
Lavished graceāthe kind that seeps into every area of our lives and becomes our mode of operationāitās beautiful + magnetic.
Radical faithāthe faith that yearns to walk out the āimpossibleā because it knows that with God, ALL things are possible.
These thingsāthese pillars will guide us this week as we operate on a different timeline.
This week, Jesus plans our course. This means that every step will be meaningful + FULL of joy.
We are grateful to be here again. Not a moment for granted šš»
