But what is even MORE overwhelming—what feels like Heaven pulling back it’s layer and rushing into our everyday lives is the Army of God that stops at NOTHING to love God and therefore, love His people.
It is fierce. Powerful. Its determination has no stopping point because its source is a well that doesn’t run dry.
When it’s weary, the unrelenting love of the Father taps in—and this love, it has NEVER been exhausted.
You think darkness is nerve-wracking? Persistent? Hell-beating? Try the Army of the Living God full of warriors who aren’t signing up for credit or affirmation—the glory is God’s alone.
I hate that this world brings so much pain. But I BEAM with HOPE and an expectant heart because I KNOW that God is moving and His people are world shakers.
You haven’t seen nothin’ until you mess with God’s people and His angel armies witnesses it. I love the practical truth of the Gospel that saves, provides, restores, uproots, undoes, alters, clarifies, establishes, redeems, and revives like ONLY it can.
Only God can do what God can do.
And only God’s people can do what God’s people can do—through surrender and humility and a heart that breaks for what breaks His—and then knows that only the love of a sovereign God can make it safe + secure again.
It’s wild.
It’s all around us.
We are witnessing it in every kind of form.
I wish the bad didn’t highlight the good—but it always has.
So though there is such pain and tragedy and we cannot control what isn’t ours to control, I do believe that the Army of God gets to care, comfort, and carry the Gospel onward in a way it never has before.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Heaven comes to earth 🤍
