Thankful to be an American. Proud to be from the United States of America. Praying that today can be a day where we celebrate this gift instead of warring our voices or letting our fight for what feels just to us cloud our ability to voice gratitude for all God is doing.
• I’m thankful I can worship freely—in a church, at my kitchen table, or walking down my street.
• I’m thankful I can raise my children to know Jesus, and speak His name without fear.
• I’m thankful I can disagree out loud, and still be heard, still be safe, still belong.
• I’m thankful for the gift of starting over, as many times as it takes.
• I’m thankful I can open my Bible in public and not hide it under a chair.
• I’m thankful that questions are allowed here, and sometimes even lead to something beautiful.
• I’m thankful for the space to dream, rebuild, and walk forward, even when the road isn’t straight.
• I’m thankful for the courage of those who came before me, who fought for freedoms I get to carry.
• I’m thankful that my faith can be lived out loud, not confined or controlled.
• I’m thankful for the grace to grow in a country that’s still growing, too.
• I’m thankful that even when we don’t agree, we still get to show up together.
• I’m thankful I can bring my whole heart into the world and not shrink back.
• I’m thankful that freedom isn’t perfect—but it’s possible.
• I’m thankful that while my country is a gift, my hope is in something greater.
• I’m thankful that I can live light in a heavy world—and not do it alone.
THANKFUL.
Happy July 4th!!! God is near and He reigns. May God bless America 🇺🇸
