Transition calls for grace

on August 11, 2026

There are seasons when you can feel life shifting in real time.

Nothing is necessarily wrong. In fact, some of it is really, really good. Prayers are being answered. People are growing. Doors are opening. New rhythms are beginning. But even good change asks something of us, and I think we forget to give ourselves grace for that.

Transition takes energy. (Wayyyy more than we often expect 🙃)

Your mind is learning new rhythms. Your heart is making room for what’s different. Relationships are adjusting. Expectations are shifting. Things that used to happen without thinking suddenly require intention again. And sometimes you just feel a little more tender or tired than usual without immediately knowing why.

Maybe you don’t need to analyze every emotion or assume something is wrong.
Maybe you’re simply ADJUSTING.

And I love that Scripture never portrays God as impatient with people in seasons of transition. He leads, provides, reminds, strengthens, repeats Himself when necessary, and gives enough grace for the next step. He knows we are dust. He understands our humanity better than we do.

And perhaps the most comforting part is realizing: God did not arrive at this season when you did. He knew it was coming!!!

He has been preparing things you can see and things you can’t. He has been forming wisdom, endurance, courage, tenderness, discernment, and deeper dependence on Him—sometimes through circumstances you didn’t even realize were preparation at the time.

So if life feels a little different right now, be gentle with the people around you. Be generous in your assumptions. Leave a little margin. Laugh when the rhythm falls apart. Pray before you panic. Give yourself permission to find your footing.

You will not navigate this transition perfectly— and that’s precisely the POINT!
You need the Father.
Walking it faithfully is understanding the need for grace— for you, and for them.

The God who was faithful in what was is already present in what is—and He has enough grace for every part of you that is still adjusting🤍
