Trusting His goodness in the week ahead

Jesus, thank You!!!
Thank You for a new week and the gift of more time. Purely and simply, it is so so so undeserved and yet, You give it. I’m so grateful.
Help me lean into You this week…every moment, I am so in need of You.
Sometimes I forget that I’m allowed to come to You as I am—tired. Not polished. Not put together. Struggling to trust or full of faith. You already see the doubt anyway. Just…honest. Near. I feel You pursuing me in every moment.

Help me remember that Your arms are never hesitant to receive—they don’t flinch.
You come close. You quiet my spinning.
You remind me I’m not the one holding it all—You are.
As You ask my heart questions and inquire where my mind is at, even though You already know, You help me discern and know wisdom. You unveil what felt foggy and hope seems to burst forth from behind the clouds it was hiding.

You’re not just my Savior—you’re my safe place.
You’re not just the Lord of all—you’re the Friend of my soul.
You sit with me in the questions I can’t yet answer and the grief I haven’t fully named.
You stay.
And You speak—softly, but clearly to the deep places within me:
“You’re not too much. You’re not behind. I’ve got you. I’ve got this.”

So as this new week begins, I won’t ask for perfection.
I’ll ask for peace—the peace You already offer me right where I am.
how powerful to know that You rest during storms.
I won’t ask to be strong—I’ll ask to stay close.
Let me walk with You, not ahead of You.
Let me rest in You, not run from You.
Let me trust You, not just with my eternity, but with today. All of it. The particulars and the people and the places and all of it.

You’re good at being God.
And I’m safe being Yours.
