Watch Him make holy ground out of hard places

on October 28, 2025

Sometimes the very ground you’re standing on feels like the opposite of holy—it feels barren, disappointing, and unfair. You look around and see all that seems dormant, all that hasn’t bloomed yet, and it’s easy to assume nothing good could grow here. But heaven whispers otherwise. Growth rarely looks like progress while it’s happening. Most of the time, it looks like surrender, like showing up again, like believing that the unseen roots are doing holy work beneath the surface.

Even here—especially here—God is cultivating something sacred. He’s building the kind of strength that can’t be shaken and the kind of faith that doesn’t depend on how comfortable you are. What feels like delay is often divine timing. What looks like failure is often soil being turned over so something deeper can take root.

Disappointment, weakness, and sorrow are not detours; they’re divine classrooms. The places you’d never choose are often the very ones where endurance is formed, humility grows strong, and trust stretches wider than fear. This is where your faith learns to breathe, to rest, to remember that even when you can’t trace His hand, you can trust His heart.

Don’t rush the process. Don’t resent the tension. The discomfort you feel isn’t proof that God is distant—it’s evidence that He’s doing something in you that comfort never could. Every season of waiting, stretching, or uncertainty is an invitation to rely on His limitless supply—to watch Him make holy ground out of hard places.

Even when your heart aches for resolution, you can rest in this truth: God never wastes the wilderness. The very ground that feels dry today may be the place where your deepest roots begin to grow. He is forming you into someone who can hold both peace and purpose, both joy and sorrow, both hope and reality—all at once, all in Him 🤍

The essence of faith is trusting in what you CAN’T YET SEE—the uncertainty + hard seasons are REQUIRED to cultivate faith that holds.
