When tomorrow becomes today, there will be new mercy there.

Sometimes life hands you something you never wanted to learn how to carry.

The phone call comes. The test confirms it. Someone you love is gone. The future you pictured changes in a sentence. Or maybe nothing has happened yet, but your mind has already traveled ten miles down a road you desperately hope you never have to walk.

And one of the most human thoughts is: I don’t know if I can do this.

Of course you don’t feel strong enough for the whole road. You’re imagining carrying all of it at once—with the strength, resources, and perspective you have right now.

But God never asked you to figure out tomorrow’s circumstances with today’s supply.
He gives DAILY bread. Morning mercies. Enough light for the next step. He meets us in actual moments with ACTUAL grace.

Sometimes that grace looks like making it through the appointment you dreaded. A friend sitting beside you without trying to fix anything. Laughing on a day you thought would only hold sadness. Peace arriving before circumstances change. Discovering your heart can hold grief and gratitude, fear and faith, tears and genuine joy at the same time.

None of that makes the hard thing less hard.
It simply means the hard thing does not get to be the only thing that is true.

Jesus is still here.

Our hope was never that faith would make us untouched by suffering. Jesus Himself grieved. He asked for another way in Gethsemane.

Our hope is that suffering never gets the final word—and we are never left alone inside it.
So if you’re looking ahead thinking, There is no way I have enough strength for this, maybe you don’t.

Maybe you don’t have it yet.
Because you’re imagining the weight without the GRACE that will come with it.

Stay here. Receive today’s bread. Let people love you. Laugh when something is funny. Cry when it hurts. Ask Jesus for exactly what you need—even when all you can say is, Help me.

When tomorrow becomes today, there will be new mercy there.
Not because you are endlessly strong.
Because Jesus is endlessly faithful.

And as your days are, so shall your strength be.
Daily dependence. Continual replenishment.
