Another chance to accept His grace, walk in His mercy, and welcome His refinement so that you can be more like Him—is there anything better?!
Jesus, thank You!!!!
Thank You for going out of Your way in every moment to assure my heart that I am worthy, safe, and capable because of You.
Thank You for hearing where I’m at, sitting with me there, and then lifting my head and holding my hand as You lead me back to solid, stable ground.
Thank You for helping me loosen my grip on the things that vie for my attention and for highlighting what is truly helpful and holy.
Will You lead the way this week? In all I do and say and have and hold and respond to, may Your heart be glaringly obvious through me.
Break my grip on any distractions and help me recalibrate. Shift my focus to what I can control so that I don’t waste time on what I don’t. When the anxieties of life swirl or the curveballs come, remind me that You have prepared me for such a time as this.
Thank You for using the least likely and the most unexpected ways and circumstances to refine me and restore my hope in You. When the world says, “it can’t be done”, You whisper to my soul, “They don’t know what I do.” When the world is confused by my devotion and my faith seems illogical, remind me that that is the breeding ground for miracles to take place.
You are kind, Jesus. You’re everything holy and good and life-giving.
The Lion of Judah, the lamb of God, the King of Kings, the prince of peace, the Healer of the blind, the One who made the sun stand still and silenced the roaring waves of the sea, the One who walked everywhere with purpose yet was able to be interrupted, the alpha and the omega, the bread of life, the risen one, the good shepherd, the carrier of light and the cornerstone.
You are it.
