Another opportunity to prioritize what truly matters and let go of what doesn’t—what advances His Kingdom? What empowers you to be a disciple? What strengthens the family of God?
All else fades.
Jesus, thank You!!!!!
We will shout and rejoice and say it again and again and again—GREAT is Your faithfulness and wild is Your grace! It’s too much for our hearts to comprehend but we receive it with humility and gratitude.
Thank You for the reminder that this week is NEW! It will include unplanned happenings, difficult hurdles, moments of uncertainty, and exposure of human frailty—but still, ALL is mercy!
All reveal our desperate need for You.
All ask us the question, “where will you find your value?”
All provide an opportunity to walk in love and extend grace, even when it’s hard or heavy.
Jesus, thank You for the gift of ministry:
Wherever our feet travel today, THERE is our mission field. THOSE are our people to treat with kindness, lavish with grace, embrace with empathy, guide with wisdom, listen with gentleness, and love with deep, heavenly care.
Help us embrace this truth instead of looking for an easier place to walk out our calling. Show us how to be leaders who seek out discomfort, fully aware that when our flesh is challenged, our Spirit gets to actively fight, passionately respond, and truly grow.
We yearn for that—to be difference-makers who never settle for the normal culture offers or the mediocre life the world suggests.
Living with Heaven in mind is the abundant life—whatever it costs, requires, or asks of us.
Humble our spirits so that we stop looking at the scoreboard and keep our eyes on the Savior.
You keep track. You know. You recognize. You see. You position. You provide. You promote. You promise. You protect.
Thank you for being our Good, Good Shepherd.
