“Yes, joyful are those who live like this! Joyful indeed are those whose God is the Lord.” -Psalm 144:15 🙌🏻
We are joyful, expectant, and GRATEFUL because God is the Lord of our lives. Holy + present and sooo good to us!
🌟 Seeking God first and letting Him determine our priorities will never + has never led us astray. When we yoke ourselves to Him, we welcome goodness, strength, + promise.
🌟 We get to TAKE 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 BREAK 👏🏻 No shame. Sit down. Walk away for a bit. Recalibrate + recenter. Knowing we need some time doesn’t make us a quitter; it makes us wise.
🌟 Whatever the season, whatever our role, however it looks, His faithfulness remains the same. It is the steady comfort amidst every uncertainty—our God never changes.
🌟 Rejection will never feel good but it will never be the end of us. In whatever it is, we have the grit + the stamina to look up, ask God for His affirmation, and keep onward.
🌟 We can dislike how something feels, what it requires, or what we have to release in our circumstances but still see the value + necessity of it. Spiritual maturity in action.
🌟 Every single experience, hardship, + season—God doesn’t waste a moment. This assurance helps us trust the transformation of His hands, no matter how it looks or feels to us.
🌟 Reality is our friend on this one—we have gotten through it. So far, breath has filled our lungs and the thing we thought might be our downfall simply was not. Clearly our God can handle what we fear is too much.
🌟 ”No” is not negative; it’s necessary. It isn’t exclusive; it is the decision to include what matters to God in each moment. We get to make space for the GREAT by saying no.
🌟 Others have opinions but they are not us. Others have predictions but they are not God. It’s us + our Maker. When the world tries to pin it down, we will remember that only the Promise-keeper knows our end from our beginning.
🌟 The slower pace? Oh how welcome and wonderful it is for our soul. The slower days may feel like something is missing but it is precisely the margin we need to seek, stay, and saturate ourselves in Jesus.
Friday—today we will experience the GOODNESS of God 🙌🏻
